My kid loved it.By StephSchiffMy 7 yr old son and I loved reading this "comic book." I think it would be great for older children as well. My son is into atoms, molecules, black holes, etc. so he is predisposed to liking anything science related, but I think this would be a great introduction for kids that haven't gotten the science bug yet. The concepts are introduced in an intelligent, yet still accessible way that holds interest. They are an easy to read graphic novel format with the same look as superhero comics. Using bright colors, action scenes and simple language they explain some basic scientific concepts in a way that children can not only understand but enjoy. As I hoped they got my son interested in knowing more about the topics. My son struggled to meet his non-fiction reading quotas at school until we found Max Axiom. Not only is the science explained in an easy to understand manner, these books are fun to read.
